We welcome the opportunity to collaborate on custom candle projects. These partnerships allow us to merge aesthetics, amplify strengths, and explore new creative territory together.
Scent is a powerful way to express personal or collective identity. It tells the world who you are without saying a word.
1. Our process begins with a scent discovery session, either in our downtown Calgary studio or remotely. We’ll walk you through a guide to help clarify your goals and vision. Our aim is to develop a clear, compelling story that your fragrance will tell.
2. From there, we blend three distinct fragrances that we believe best capture your story.
3. After you’ve had time to explore these samples, we move on to the next iteration, either refining the blends further or proceeding directly to candle sampling.
4. Once you’re fully satisfied with your custom fragrance, we begin discussing vessels and packaging. We’ll guide you through options between glass or tin, and work with you to design packaging that complements and enhances your scent story.
5. Finally, we move into production. We’ll store your custom fragrance in our scent library so we can restock as needed.
The Field Kit palette includes six distinct colours.
These colours are available in all glass vessels, four tin finishes, and all our matte metal lids. We can mix and match elements to create a candle that feels uniquely yours from story to scent to final form.
Our custom glass candles are $18.50 each and our custom tin candles are $12.50 each.
We require a commitment to 96 candles. However, these do not need to be ordered at the same time and can be produced in batches as small as 24 candles.

We worked with friend and fellow artisan Kate Husted to design monochromatic ceramic candles. We released a limited edition run of 100 candles.
We worked with Arc'teryx on a custom fragrance for their store launch in Calgary. The fragrance that we designed evoked mountain meadows with notes of wild rose and juniper.
We worked with The Factory in Tofino, BC to craft a custom scent for their Gold+Tan line. We blended frankincense, sandalwood and jasmine to create a warm and sultry scent that evokes carefree beach days.
We designed a fragrance for the Kananaskis Nordic Spa that references their open fire pits and the eucalyptus oil used in their steam room.
