We recommend a few things to get the most out of your glass and tin candles

+ Burn your candle all the way to the edge (especially on the first burn)

+ Trim your wick to 1/4” (1cm) before every burn

+ Don’t burn your candle for longer than 4 hours and always keep it within sight

+ Stop burning the candle when the wax is 1/4” (1cm) from the base of the vessel

Here are our recommendations for the pillar candles.

+ Burn your candle between 2-4 hours each time. We test our candles for periods of 2 hours and find it gives the most consistent burn.

+ Trim your wick to 1/4” (1cm) before every burn. If the wax is spilling over the edge, you can trim the wick as short as 1/8” (1/2cm)

+ It you’d like your candle to burn stronger, tip some of the excess wax into your compost bin.

For our charcoal incense

+ After lighting the tip of the incense, wait 10-15 seconds until you blow out the flame.

+ if the incense doesn’t smoke the first time, repeat the step above

+ if you’d like to stop burning your incense before it’s finished, you can use a candle snuffer to put it out
